Why settle for a beveled product when you can have the look of a custom sanded floor without all the mess. Stoehr Flooring’s unique production process produces a true square edge on all four sides for a beautiful monolithic look.

What is the Lay Straight, Stay Straight™ Process?
Monogram XL is made using a more expensive manufacturing process to minimize bowed boards and subsequent induced stresses. Taking care during the manufacturing process makes it easier for you to install and minimizes uneven tongue & groove movement between boards. This makes the floor more stable vertically and horizontally, helping make for a quieter floor.

What is Lay Flat, Stay Flat?
The Lay Flat, Stay Flat 3/8" and 1/2" back-sealed solid prefinished hardwood strip features a unique, in-line back-sealing process that helps minimize the natural potential for thinner products to cup and crown due to seasonal humidity changes.

What are the benefits of solid hardwood flooring?
Besides being naturally beautiful, hardwood floors are easy to maintain and last for many years. Hardwood floors also minimize the risk of dust allergies thus helping create a healthy environment for your home.

Where can I install Stoehr Flooring Hardwood?
Since Stoehr Flooring is a solid hardwood product, it can be installed on or above grade. Do not install Prolinea in a below grade application.

What is the difference between the Stoehr Flooring grades Clear, Classic and Natural?
These are face grades that are used to grade like variations of the natural wood grouped together so you get a consistent looking floor. Clear grade has the most uniform color and natural has the most pronounced color variation. These face grades have nothing to do with the quality of the wood, just the look.

Can I expect my Stoehr Flooring hardwood to have color variations?
With wood being a natural product, each tree will have different colors and your hardwood floor will have some color variation no matter what grade of wood you choose.

Will my Prolinea Monogram hardwood floor have a beveled edge?
In our standard product, our unique, high quality production process produces a true square edge on all 4 sides of the wood for a beautiful monolithic look and great feel. However, Prolinea Monogram may be special ordered with an eased (microbeveled) edge on two sides. In addition to Prolinea Monogram, our newest random length product line, Stoehr Hardwood, can also be ordered in a beveled or true square edge.
